Education Grant ProgramISONG members whose work focuses on educating nurses in genomics are invited to apply for this grant to complete an educational project/intervention.The 2021 Call for an Education Grant Award Is Open! Letters of Intent are due on Friday, May 14, 2021. Submit a letter of intent via email to Ruth Lucas at ruth.lucas@uconn.edu and Mary Hanson-Zalot at Mary.Hanson-Zalot@jefferson.edu no later than Friday, May 14, 2021 (midnight EDT). This letter is not to decide who may apply but rather to help the co-chairs to begin to ask the appropriate reviewers to be part of the grant process. The project should promote genomic education to graduate, undergraduate, or practicing nurses. Projects must be completed within one year. Projects may include but not limited to:

Awarding of grant funding is competitive and will be determined through peer review of proposals by members of the ISONG Education Committee. Educational impact on professional development in genomics is the primary criterion for funding decisions.
