The International Society for Nursing in Genetics (ISONG) Congress will be hosting Pre-Congress workshops to address critical education in genomics. The workshops will be held the day prior to Congress on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Graduate Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island.
The planning committee aims to select a mixture of topics that will reflect research, education, and clinical practice. Individuals, teams, and panels that address a practical application of a topic with a Q&A session will be considered for acceptance. Members of the ISONG community have expressed interest in topics such as:

To apply to present a workshop, please be prepared with the relevant data below. 
We suggest writing it on a separate document and then copying and pasting into the application.  Proposal applications should include:
  - Purpose: Clearly state the purpose of the workshop
- Target audience (e.g., graduate students, practicing nurses)
- Organizing Framework: Describe flow of contents emphasizing major issues to be discussed, including learning and engagement activities
- Conclusions: Present summary of knowledge gleaned from issues discussed
- Keywords: List 4-5 keywords NOT in the title of the workshop session

Each Pre-Congress workshop will be a 3-hour session. Our intention is to offer four Pre-Congress workshops (two morning and two afternoon).
