ISONG Congratulations from Jean Jenkins
Dear members of ISONG, it was quite difficult for me not to be able to attend the wonderful 25th anniversary celebration of ISONG. As you may know, when the U.S.
Federal government was shutdown in October, as a federal employee I was
unable to attend this year’s meeting. I was so looking forward to
being a part of the wonderful weekend of networking, sharing of
knowledge, and brainstorming about ISONG’s role/your role for the future
of genetics/genomics nursing. I had even requested that the Director
of NHGRI, NIH Dr. Eric Green, assist me in introducing my final
presentation, Celebrating our Silver Anniversary (25th): and Reaching for the Gold (50th)!
He created a video if congratulations. I was unable to access that
presentation until I returned to work, and am now able to provide you
the direct link to hear what Dr. Green had to say. Only those with
knowledge of this link will be able to view the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PXj4a_2abs
